EDI Specialist

** A CALL TO ACTION VOLUNTEERS : ** Dear New Earthers and Resonant Hearts, Due to the exciting expansion in manifestation and growth we are happily experiencing, the Internet and E-Commerce team is looking for a EDI Specialist. As the EDI Specialist, you will report to the Director of Information Technology. The EDI Specialist Manages electronic data interchange (EDI) and other standard file processing; trains, directs and monitors the operations of the file processing for all operations. Identifies reporting requirements for electronic reporting, as well as being passionate about their contribution to the organization.This position call for direct feedback and consultation with development engineers on problem resolution Required Skills:

• Analyze new and existing customer requirements to determine recommended approach to business for setting up electronic transactions
• Formulate policies, procedures and techniques defining how electronic transaction interfaces should be managed, implemented and communicated internally and externally
• Constantly review current procedures and make recommendations for upgrading or process improvement based on best practices
• Reviews, approves and signs systems Trading Partner agreements, reports and other regulatory agreements on behalf of the organization
• Assist in the automation of standard processes
• Electronic transaction planning, development, testing and support efforts
• Adhere to privacy and confidential and organizational policies and procedures
• Audits/Troubleshoots Transaction Maintenance for processed electronic transactions
• Perform other functions as required.

Technical Experience:

• Experience in: HTML5
• Experience in: CSS3
• Experience in: JavaScript/jQuery/JSON
• Experience in: PHP5
• Experience in: SQL(MySQL)
• Desired: Scala

Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience (6) years minimum related . Communication: Communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.Continually seeks opportunities to increase organizations satisfaction and deepen relationships.Builds a knowledge base of systems and objectives.Facilitates team meetings effectively, understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
