As a Web Developer, you will report to the Director of Information Technology. The developer is expected to be a quick-learner and work in a fast-paced working environment. The developer is extremely proactive in keeping web site reliable and stable in addition to learn cutting-edge web technologies. as well as being passionate about their contribution to the organization. This position call for direct feedback and consultation with development engineers on problem resolution <strong>Required Skills:</strong> <ul> <li>Performs and implements daily operational activities that generally impact discrete components / processes of the on-line technology function, including but not limited to writing code and scripts that provide desired functionality to the web-based software sites, products and programs.</li> <li>Maintains and support existing and develops web-based prototypes, applications and tools.</li> <li>Participates in the evaluation of compatibility of programs with existing communications hardware and software features.</li> <li>Participates in developing software protocols to support established standards.</li> <li>Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur.</li> <li>Gathers and updates necessary information and communicates to appropriate parties.</li> <li>Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities.</li> <li>Coordinates cross-functionally to accomplish assigned tasks.</li> </ul> <strong>Technical Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Experience in: HTML5</li> <li>Experience in: CSS3</li> <li>Experience in: JavaScript/jQuery/JSON</li> <li>Experience in: PHP5</li> <li>Experience in: SQL(MySQL)</li> <li>Desired: Scala</li> </ul> <strong>Education and Qualifications:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience (4) years minimum related . <strong>Communication:</strong> Communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.Continually seeks opportunities to increase organizations satisfaction and deepen relationships.Builds a knowledge base of systems and objectives.Facilitates team meetings effectively, understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
